Welcome to my newly redesigned Web site, Thomaslucier.com, the no-spin zone in cyberspace for serious, rational, reasonable, intelligent, goal-driven, reality-based and action-oriented adults, who are willing to take calculated risks in order to profit from the many money-making opportunities that real estate provides!

My Real Estate Resources Web page has one of the largest collections of real estate related links on the entire Internet! This is where you'll find reliable information on property records, comparable sales, foreclosure reporting services, property and casualty insurance, federal taxes, environmental hazards, lead-based paint, property appraisal, fair housing and other important stuff that serious real estate investors need to know about.

The Real Estate News page has direct links to all of the major real estate news sources and real estate related trade publications.

Please note that in order to read certain documents that are linked to this Web site, you'll need Adobe Reader, which you can download free by clicking here.

My How-to Articles provide detailed step-by-step instructions, ready-to-use information, and practical no-nonsense advice on a myriad of important real estate investment topics.

My Recommended Reading List has a listing of books that all serious real estate investors should have in their reference library.

I am the author of seven books and three CD-ROMs on real estate investing and managing Florida residential rental property. Make sure you checkout these money-saving special offers on my books and CD-ROMs.

I also offer one-on-one Telephone Consultations for serious investors who are seeking in-depth advice and answers to lengthy questions about investing in real estate and running a profitable and hassle-free residential rental housing business.

And you won't find the usual overpriced, unrealistic and impractical bullspit on my Web site, that's being peddled on most so-called real estate investment Web sites today. That’s because I don’t promote, advertise or sell:
1. $299 books
2. $20,000 mentoring services
3. $1,995 real estate courses
4. $5,000 seminars and so-called boot camps

I don't want to come across as some sort of real estate killjoy, but for the average person with no real estate or business experience, whatsoever, it's almost next to impossible to succeed as a real estate investor when you're unemployed, broke and have lousy credit. The problem is that virtually all legitimate real estate investment strategies, require a certain amount of cash or credit, in order to be successfully implemented. So, the best advice that I can give to any aspiring real estate investor, who's currently unemployed, broke and has rottten credit, is to first:
1. Get a steady job.
2. Save your money.
3. Rebuild your credit.

I recommend that aspiring real estate investors take my Real Estate Investor's Aptitude Test, to see if they have what it takes to be a profitable do-it-yourself real estate investor. And then read the twenty reasons why most people fail to make it as Real Estate Investors!
